The Environmental Choice
Polynex is committed to manufacturing a sustainable and environmentally friendly product. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a sound choice for a sustainable future. Unlike concrete, it has an almost unlimited lifespan, and is full recyclable. It is also low energy to manufacture, transport, and install – it is very much lighter than concrete, and has low carbon emissions. Unlike steel, it takes less energy to manufacture the raw materials, and to process the material into finished goods – and again, HDPE has a longer lifespan.

To persistently enhance our understanding of lifecycle emissions, we work with those involved in large-scale projects to develop technologies that provide for the responsible use and management of resources. Issues associated with climate change and environmental impacts continue to challenge Australian industry, as well as the wider community. This means sharing leading practice and innovation in energy and operational efficiency to result in a greater overall minimisation of global impacts.
Industry research and development of accountable practices mean that our long-term business and investment model is based on sound ethical practices and values. Frameworks are established to minimise the impact of land disturbance, land-use changes and any other indirect impacts.
Specifically our products have been designed to be lighter and more economically viable for industry and extended businesses. Polynex products can be manufactured from fully recycled material, resulting in a lifecycle that is more efficient than concrete, steel, or composite materials
Polynex has state of the art recycling facilities on site. Recycled material is fully tested for required properties and strict adherence to national standards. Suitable material can be fully recycled over and over again and manufactured into new products with lowest environmental impact.
